In 2022, WPI recognized Greg and Corinna Tucker for their generosity in enabling a key element of accessibility enhancements on Boynton Street. Their support helped with a modernization to the main entrance of Founders Hall.
In recognition of their commitment, WPI renamed the area and they are recognized with the following plaque and narrative:
Gregory R. Tucker ’92 & Corinna Jenkins Tucker Plaza
Gregory has earned a place in WPI history as one of the top scorers in men’s soccer in the university’s history. In 2007, he was inducted into the WPI Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of his standout career in Engineers Soccer. As a student, Gregory also served as president of his fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega, was a member of Skull, and earned the Varsity Club and Poly Club awards. Since graduating, he has built a successful career in manufacturing. This entrance is named in recognition of the Tuckers’ generous philanthropy.
